Over the last several years we have been developing an affordable and effective line of products to help lower feedback issues with turntables and mechanical noise generated by turntables, cd players and amplifiers. We are now offering these products to customers who have been fighting these issues.
"Turntable audio feedback" refers to a situation where a turntable picks up vibrations from its own speakers and subwoofers, causing a loud, unwanted sound usually described as a "howling" or "screeching" noise, due to a feedback loop where the vibrations from the speakers are picked up by the stylus and amplified again through the system, creating a repeating cycle of sound.
"Transformer noise" is the humming or buzzing sound that transformers make, which is usually normal and not a sign of a problem. It's caused by the expansion and contraction of the transformer's iron core. This noise can be amplified by being placed on a shelf or table and can be distracting.
"Cd player transport noise" refers to the mechanical motion of the read head changing tracks and also includes the "humming sound" by irregular or the "out of balance poly-carbonate disc while spinning."
Since there are many weight differences and foot styles in these components we have extensively created adaptable accessories to accommodate almost any audio component. To ensure a proper fit please feel free to call us with details about your particular situation and we can help lessen these issues!
